seeing the announcement of Sokratis Malamas' summer concerts, i immediately booked tickets for the Thessaloniki concert. he rarely visits Germany and i saw a good chance to combine a concert with a short holiday in the region. both were fantastic. a warm summer night in the amphitheatre, a three hour concert (without a break) ending after midnight, thousands of people joining in singing the most favourite songs, and a great performance by Sokratis Malamas, Julia Karapataki, Giannis Malamas and the other musicians.
