Something didn’t smell right in Stockbrook - and officers were quick to sniff out the source. Following complaints of a strong smell of cannabis, officers followed the smell to an address on Lynton Street, Derby on Monday 11 August.
There, they discovered an estimated 400-500 cannabis plants spread across three growing rooms and a drying room. One man was arrested and charged with drugs and immigration offences and has been remanded in custody whilst investigations continue.
