On august 31, 2025, a magnificent Altar Servers Rally took place at the Annai Velankanni Shrine in Chennai, organized by the Archdiocese Vocation Commission. The event was led by Rev. Fr. Dyson Rajarathinam, Rector of Infant Jesus Minor Seminary in Santhome, along with deacons, regents, and brothers from the Sacred Heart Seminary in Poonamalle, Chennai.
A total of 1,045 students from 48 parishes across the archdiocese participated in this grand rally, which celebrated faith and encouraged vocations to the priesthood. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual energy and devotion, highlighting the importance of altar service in the lives of young believers. This rally served as a powerful testament to the vibrant and active youth within the Catholic community of Chennai.
