We Got A Berkey Water Filtration System But...

Описание: It is so good to have this system in place and working. Every time I opened the closet that it was sitting in I was just sick knowing we weren't using it. If you use a Berkey let us know how long your filters have lasted. I am sure it is subject to what type of water you put in it. Of course if you are off grid and use stream water it might go through filters more often. Let me know.

Mark looked up the info on how long the black filter will last and as he said it is per gallon and not a specific time period. The life of a filer is approximately 6,000 per gallon so with two filters that ups the game to 12,000 per gallon. We figured that if we used 10 gallons a week (just a guess) then they would go for 1,200 weeks or close to 24 years. Of course this will change if you have 4 of the filters or if you use water from a lake or something that has more items to filter.
