🌞 Homemade Badi Making Process | Traditional Sun-Dried 🌾
In this video, we show the traditional method of making homemade Badi (sun-dried ) Badi is a popular ingredient used in many Indian dishes like Aloo Badi Sabzi, adding a rich and unique flavour to everyday meals.
Ingredients:
• Urad dal (black 1 K.G)
• 500 gram Potato
• Salt
• Zinger, Saunf, Ajwain, Roasted cumin zeera powder , Roasted mirchi powder & you can also add hing for more tasty & flavour of Badi
• Optional spices (as per taste)
Process:
1️⃣ Soak urad dal in water for 6–8 hours.
2️⃣ Grind it into a smooth and thick paste.
3️⃣ Add potato salt, hing, and mix well.
4️⃣ Beat the batter well until it becomes light and fluffy.
5️⃣ Place small portions of the batter on a clean cloth or plastic sheet.
6️⃣ Dry them under sunlight for 2–3 days until completely hard.
7️⃣ Store the dried badi in an airtight container.
These homemade badi can be stored for months and used anytime to prepare delicious curries and sabji
