The Parat I is the basic model in the Agfa Parat Range, which includes the Paramat & the Optima Parat. A simple, mostly plastic camera, it takes half frame images on standard 35mm film, giving twice the number of images than a full frame 35mm. It wasn’t a hugely successful camera, hence there was no Parat II made. But, due to its ability to manually select shutter speeds, it is more likely to work today, than the other two models which were dependent on the selenium cell exposure meter.
