Guild Wars, what a beautiful MMORPG, or as others say a CORPG. I played the game for exactly 1486 hours and 51 minutes with all my characters together. My main character is a warrior, and my secondary is more preferably my elementalist. Furthermore I have a Necromancer, a paragon, assassin, mesmer, monk and ranger. The world is very large (not as large as WOW but that doesn't matter), there are plenty of quests to do, and also mission which are more important for the story itself. You have a large variety of armors and weapons (which can be coloured with dyes), and also the possibilty to wear costumes like Halloween, or for Christmas etc... The enemies are also very challenging and can take you out quickly if you don't have the right skills. Skills itself are very valuable and there is no such skill as the best one, the only difference between a more powerful skill then another one is an elite skill, but still isn't always that much better. What I mean is that you don't have to worry about being too weak in the beginning as you are actually not. The same for the level cap, the maximum is level 20, which you can gain in 4 days if you take the fastest experience run posible, if not faster. Therefor you don't have to worry to begin with the game as you are very easily started with your character and enemies. Experience is the key and mastering your skills, but more importantly, combining your skills, which I think is the most important. It's not just about taking one skill that can take out a dozen of enemies at once, which is very boring and not torough. You meet players online in towns and outposts, but not in explorable areas, where you get your own copy of the game. (You can still meet up with 8 players in a team however) Use your brains! Furthermore the graphics are very nice, and a good support of all resolutions and AA (x4). In my opinion, I think Guild Wars has the best graphics for an ONLINE MMORPG (I know it's not the most important but it's good to notice). And the gameplay is very amusing, also, the emotes are very humorous and can be used at any time where-ever you want, including rock, paper and scissors. At last ,when everything is achieved, you can also build up titles which are shown under the user's character when you are in-game. This, however, can take a lot of your time for maxing them, some even months. Conclusion: One of the best MMORPG's to find these days, and with the upcoming Guild Wars 2 it won't be just the best, but also the nicest one! Guild Wars itself is very cheap now these days, and there is NO MONLTHY SUBSCRIPTION needed, which I find to be the best and most honest way to play games, also online. Be professional and keep your servers for your own sake! Perhaps WOW may learn about it, and may Guild Wars 2 honor it's place at the top too 'Just for any inconvinience: I never said WOW is a bad rpg, I do like it actually, very nice gameplay, but just the monthly subscription isn't my style.). I played it long enough to know it. Good luck, and (much) pleasure.
