After breaking his leg and then dislocating his patella in back to back years, Friendswood’s Braylan Shelby wondered if he’d ever play again. Not only is he playing, but he’d become one of the state’s most elite edge rushers. Shelby had 15 career sacks coming into this year and dominated on the Mustang line as a senior. Braylan will be heading to U-S-C to play his college ball.
