How to Quit Hustle Culture (Without Being Broke or Lazy)

It’s absolutely time.


I quit hustle culture as an ambitious professional and entrepreneur—because the idea that I have to work my ass off to succeed is trash.


For a long time, I drank the Kool-Aid. I really believed that the way I’d break generational cycles and build the life I wanted was to grind myself into the ground. To push until I was burned out, face-down on the floor, wondering how the hell I got there.


Part of me wanted to burn it all down and become a beach bum in Costa Rica.

And another part of me knew the truth—I’m ambitious. Burning it all down felt like giving up.



But I didn’t want to quit myself or my dreams.

I just wanted a different way to build them—one that let me enjoy my life now, instead of killing myself and hoping I’d live long enough to enjoy it later.


I don’t have all the answers.

But I do know this: I’m living more freedom than ever—even while starting a new job and continuing to grow my business.


So let’s talk about what that actually looks like.
