One of my favorite things about the Mario Kart franchise is the retro tracks. It might be a weird thing to love about the games, but they just evoke so much nostalgia. I especially like the retro tracks they produce in the newer games. Just because I love the concept of retro tracks and a lot of the reimaginings they gave us, doesn’t mean they’re all perfect. So today, I will be talking about my top 5 least favorite retro tracks from any of the Mario Kart games.
This list will include retro tracks from Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Tracks from Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Super Circuit, and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! will not be included in this video because retro tracks made their debut in Mario Kart DS.
