In the mix-in-place process, lime or hydrophobic cement is normally pre-spread and the powdered binder is then mixed in by the milling rotor.
In this video, instead of a dusty binder, we’re using a special agent: #Claycrete II™. This liquid stabiliser is particularly well suited to loamy soils. But it’s all about the exact dosing.

On the RS 460, the fully automatic water-injection system ensures the optimum binder content in the soil. The precision pumps fitted here deliver 50 to 800 litres per minute – steplessly and across the full milling width, 16 nozzles can be switched on and off in sections. The dosing computer regulates everything automatically depending on milling depth and speed.
