INTRODUCTION :-

The staff of Police Station Malviya Nagar, South District has done commendable work by arresting an autolifter namely Love in case FIR No. 22639/22 U/s 379/411 IPC PS Malviya Nagar. Upon his instance, 03 stolen motorcycles were recovered and 03 cases of MV theft were solved successfully.

BRIEFING OF THE STAFF:-
The staff of PS Malviya Nagar/South District was specifically tasked to keep vigil on the activities of the people involved in the autolifting/snatching/robbery. Accordingly, the staff initiated sincere efforts by sensitizing local informers and collecting human intelligence. Consequently, pickets were placed and patrolling was intensified/mounted at the vulnerable areas/points for prevention and detection of crime in the area.

PATROLLING & OPERATION :-

On 28.11.2022, the staff comprising of HC Rahul Pawar, HC Amit, HC Yashpal, Ct Chetan Chauhan, Ct. Akash of PS Malviya Nagar were deployed on area patrolling for prevention and detection of crime. Around 07:25 PM when they checking the vehicles near Triveni Complex, Ganda Nala, Chirag Delhi, a person on a motorcycle tried to escape the checking. On suspicious the patrolling staff chased and apprehended him. Later on, he was identified as Love a resident of Mehrauli. He was asked to show the documents of the motorcycle but he kept misleading the police staff. However, checking on ZIP NET, the motorcycle was found stolen from Khirki, Malviya Nagar vide case FIR No. 22639/22 U/S 379 IPC PS Malviya Nagar. The accused was arrested and during further investigation he disclosed that he has stolen two another motorcycles from Masoodpur, Vasant Kunj and Neb Sarai. Upon his instance, 02 more stolen motorcycles were recovered from Teacher colony, Near Vikas Hospital, Mehrauli. The above said 03 stolen motorcycles were seized and taken into police custody.

Love S/o Bhagat Ram R/o Brahaman Colony, Mehrauli, Delhi. Age 19 years.

RECOVERY :-

Three stolen motorcycles.

FIR No. 22639/22 U/S 379/411 IPC PS Malviya Nagar.
E-FIR No. 33362/22 U/S 379/411 IPC PS Vasant Kunj North.
E-FIR No. 017005/21 U/S 379/411 IPC PS Neb Sarai.


Further investigation is in progress. The staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.
