Ingredients:
Prawn/Tiny shrimp 250 gms
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Boiled mashed potato 100 gm
Onion raw 20 gm( chopped)
Onion fried 1 tbsp
Mint leaves 1 tbsp chopped
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp chopped
Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Garlic 5 pearls
Green chillies 2 nos
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Curry leaf 1 sprig
Lime 1/2 no
Eggs 1 1/2 no
Bread crumbs 80 gm
Oil to deep fry
Method:
1. Clean and wash and drain the tiny shrimp.
2. Add salt, sugar, and Garam masala to the shrimp.
3. Add mashed potato, raw chopped onions, fried onions, chopped mint and chopped coriander leaves. Mix it in.
4. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder.
5. In a mortar and pestle pound garlic, chillies, cumin and fennel seeds along with curry leaf and lime juice. ( alternately grind coarsely in a blender.)
6. Mix the blended paste in and shape the prawn mixture into small roundels.
7. Dust the prawn kebabs with bread crumbs.
8. Beat the egg. Dip the breaded prawn Kebabs and deep fry in hot oil for 3 mins.
9. Serve hot.
