Gear Spotlight: Augustine Classical Guitar Strings (Low Tension) - Unboxing

Recommended volume settings:
System Volume: 15%
External Speakers Volume: 30%
YouTube Volume: 20%

What I like about these strings:
Manageable to tune (I'm guessing it has to do with the tension? It's easier to tweak these ones compared to the higher tensioned?)
TBA! (I'll link to the test video after I've restrung the Novaro)

Areas of Improvement:
TBA --- though another user mentioned that it's a slippy slidey string (Which I think would work for me...if I was trying to avoid string squeak!)

I was thinking about Augustine's decision to cut down (or has it been always two strings to a packet?) on packaging...and the environmentalist in me gave me a nudge reminding me that it's a good thing.

Here's me using a tuner to demonstrate how you can't just tune the strings:

   • Gear Spotlight: gStrings (Tuner)  

(Plus, it probably took me maybe 4-6 days to get the strings acclimated --- because if I rushed into using it...within minutes they would lose their tuning)

I did want to check at the end...if there was anything more (I guess I have a soft spot for design -- and if I didn't get a nudge to buy these...they wouldn't really appeal to me. Which makes me think: 'Well what string packaging has really appealed to me' -- and the answer: none so far....)

Much like deciding which drum heads to use (I somehow keep going back to Evans)...I'm excited that it's now time to explore string availability.
