ℹ️ The PZL.23 Karaś was one of the primary bomber aircraft used by the Polish Air Force during the September Campaign of 1939. Designed at the Polish State Aviation Works (PZL), it entered service in 1936. The aircraft had a crew of three: a pilot, an observer, and a gunner. It was armed with machine guns and bombs. While the PZL.23 Karaś was technically advanced at the time of its debut, it quickly became outdated as aviation technology rapidly evolved. Now, this legend of the 1939 Polish skies has been faithfully recreated with COBI construction blocks. The detailed model was designed in 1:32 scale, matching the rest of the Historical Collection aircraft. For this set, a brand-new cockpit canopy brick was created, capable of fitting all three crew figures. The plane features printed historical markings, including those under the wings. The underside of the model is built with new light blue blocks. In addition to the machine guns, the PZL.23 Karaś is equipped with attachable bombs. The pilot figures, wearing iconic leather flight suits, have printed details on their backs. The set also includes a uniquely printed tile showing a map of Poland’s situation in the early days of 1939. The impressive bomber model can be displayed either on its movable wheels or on a special block-built display stand with transparent elements. A printed nameplate with the aircraft's Polish checkerboard insignia and model name completes the set.
