Learning Outcome 1 - Understanding the material
Here Lucy is demonstrating a total understanding of text and subtext as well as the intentions and objectives of the character portrayed. Lucy is performing from memory with fluency, focus and spontaneity throughout the performance.

Learning Outcome 2 - Using vocal skills in response to the chosen songs
Lucy performs with adequate breathing, voice production and resonance throughout the performance. Her clarity of diction and voice control through to the end of all the phrases is excellent. She responds vocals to all of the demands of the characterisations, and she sings with accurate intonation and pitch through the performance.

Learning Outcome 3 - Physical Response to the chosen song
Lucy communicates the personal characteristics of her character through appropriate stance, movement, gestures and facial expression throughout the performance.

Learning Outcome 4 - Know and understand the context of the chosen songs
Lucy was able to give a detailed summary of the character's objective in each of the chosen songs. She was also able to give a detailed explanation of the role of one of the character portrayed, within the context of the musical as a whole. She also gave a detailed description of the work and influence of the composer.

Learning Outcome 5 - Know and understand the techniques required for musical theatre
Lucy was able to give a detailed description of the vocal techniques required to perform the song.
