I'm aware $400 probably isn't that much compared to other people collecting vinyl, but it's still quite a bit for me in the span of like 5 months

So for a while now, I've been wanting to start collecting vinyl records to display in my room and whatnot. I really enjoy the physicality of something like a vinyl record and having a physical representation of my music taste to show off to others. After ordering an album sometime in November, my spending habits would become 100x worse when I would actually get a record player for Christmas :)

It’s not the BEST record player I could’ve gotten as I know ones with built-in speakers aren’t the best for audio quality, but I’m glad I didn’t cheap out on any of those suitcase record players like the Crosley Cruiser. I did some research while choosing which record player I wanted to get and I pretty quickly found out that those kinds of record players aren’t the best for preserving your records (and have even worse sound quality.)

This video is mostly just for me to show off the well over $300-500 I've spent on vinyl (a sizable portion of that is from accessories alone.) My collection so far is still fairly small (like 8-10 albums or EPs), but I still think it’d be nice to show off in a 15-20 minute video like this.
