Supported shoulder stand and bridge pose - In this tutorial we practice supported shoulder stand with a chair along with supported bridge pose using a bolster. Either of these poses can be practiced as an alternative to the classical presentation of shoulder stand if the neck is injured or feeling stiff. They can also be of benefit when feeling fatigued. When menstruating, the supported bridge pose is an excellent pose to practice as an alternative to shoulder stand.
