How to Remove Role in Microsoft Entra ID for the User

To remove a role assignment from a user in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), follow these steps:
Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center. You will need an account with at least the Privileged Role Administrator role.
Navigate to the Users section. In the left-hand menu, go to Identity -- Users -- All users.
Find and select the user. Search for the specific user from whom you want to remove the role assignment and click on their name.
Access the Assigned roles page. In the user's profile, under the "Manage" section, click on Assigned roles.
Remove the desired role. Locate the role you wish to remove in the list of assigned roles and select the Remove link next to it.
Confirm the removal. A pop-up message will appear asking you to confirm the action. Select Yes to proceed.
The role assignment will then be removed from the selected user.
