Sarka ni kolmi
Ingredients
500 gms Prawns
5 table spoons oil
4 tea spoons garlic paste
1 tea spoon cumin powder
2 tea spoons chilli powder
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
2 tea spoons salt
2 tea spoons sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
Method
Shell the prawns and devein them and add 1 tea spoon salt and keep aside.
On medium heat add 5 table spoons oil to a pan and add garlic paste and cook for 30 seconds, now add cumin powder, chilli powder and turmeric powder and cook this for 1 minute.
Add the Prawns and cook for further 1 minute coating the prawns well.
Add salt and sugar to the prawns and cook this stirring for another 2 minutes.
Now add the vinegar and cook for 5 to 7 minutes stirring continuously until prawns are cooked and the gravy is nice and thick.
Enjoy this with simple Daal Chawal or as we Parsis say with our famous DhanDaar.
