Driver Killed After Truck Flips Multiple Times In Houston

Описание: At approximately 1:00 a.m. on April 13, 2026, a fatal single-vehicle crash occurred near US 90 and Sheldon Road along the Crosby Freeway in Houston.

According to investigators, a Dodge 3500 pickup truck was traveling eastbound when it failed to maintain a single lane and left the roadway. The vehicle went down an embankment, flipped multiple times, and came to rest on the service road shoulder.

The driver, described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, was partially ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and no other vehicles were believed to be involved.

Weather conditions included earlier rainfall, which may have impacted roadway conditions. At this time, it remains unclear whether speed or alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The roadway was temporarily closed as crews conducted their investigation.
