A 750 kW HT motor was received with a very low Insulation Resistance (IR) value. Our team first carried out complete electrical tests and diagnostics to identify the exact root cause behind the insulation drop. After identifying the issue, we fully rectified the electrical problem and restored the insulation health of the motor.

Only after completing the electrical restoration, we proceeded with the mechanical works. The bearing housing was restored through accurate sleeve work to regain proper fitment and alignment. Following this, the rotor was subjected to precise dynamic balancing to eliminate vibration and ensure smooth performance.

The motor was then carefully reassembled and a no-load run test was conducted to verify operational stability. Finally, surface painting and finishing were completed before delivery.

At the end of the entire service process, the IR value was successfully recovered to the required standard, and the motor was made ready for reliable operation. The customer was highly satisfied with the restored performance.
