'Evidence and AI: People at the Centre' is the campaign theme for World Evidence-Based Healthcare (EBHC) Day 2026.

World EBHC Day, held on 20 October, is a global initiative led by JBI in partnership with Cochrane, Campbell Collaboration, Health Technology Assessment international (HTAi), Guidelines International Network, Centre for Evidence Based Health Care, Africa Evidence Youth League and Instituto Veredas.

The aim of World EBHC Day is to raise awareness of the need for better evidence to inform healthcare policy, practice and decision-making in order to improve health outcomes globally.
