Dr. Lakshmi, a dedicated and compassionate government doctor, serves in a remote village in Tamil Nadu where medical facilities are scarce and superstitions dominate over science. Widowed at a young age, she raises her daughter Meera, while also becoming a mother figure to the villagers who lovingly call her “Doctor Amma.”

When a mysterious fever outbreak begins spreading in the region, Dr. Lakshmi must battle not only the disease but also the ignorance of the villagers who rely on traditional healers and misinformation. With limited medical resources and mounting pressure, she risks her own life, relentlessly working to save lives and educate the people.

Meanwhile, Meera, a medical student, initially disapproving of her mother’s simple village life, slowly begins to understand the selfless mission her mother is on. As tensions rise and the death toll grows, a pharmaceutical company tries to exploit the crisis for profit, forcing Dr. Lakshmi to take a bold stand.

In a powerful climax, the mother-daughter duo unites science, compassion, and community spirit to save the village, redefining what it truly means to be a doctor—and a mother.
