Zheng Jiajia, 31, a computerized reasoning master who plans and makes robots in Hangzhou, Zhejiang area, made the "female" robot toward the finish of a year ago, the Qianjiang Evening News announced.
The robot, which he named Yingying, can distinguish Chinese characters and pictures and even say a couple of straightforward words, the report said.
Zheng "wedded" his creation in a basic service on Friday.
Yingying wore a dark suit on the day and "her"head was secured with a red scarf amid the service, a customary Chinese wedding custom.
Observers to the occasion were Zheng's mom and his companions.
