Hyselins is a sea siren princess and the only daughter of Poseidon and Amphirite. She is also the younger sister of Dan Heng, another child of Poseidon an She didn’t exactly meet Percy due to the circumstances of their mission, but because of her ocean lineage, she managed to hear some news of her younger brother and his feats from the sirens and nymphs. They would even share stories of how he and Annabeth got together, and they would tease stories, how giddy they are with each other when telling the times to their lady.

Although they may not reach each other, Hyselins uses the waters to commune with it, and the tides shift to reflect visions of her brother’s life. She watches Percy’s battles, his struggles with identity, and his moments of triumph. Whenever he is in danger, she sends a dolphin guiding Percy to safety, calming the waves when he’s in danger, and a seashell washing up near him carrying a faint whisper of advice. If Hyselins sings her words into the water, the tide may carry a dream-echo to Percy while he sleeps. He sometimes wakes with fragments of her voice, never fully sure if it’s real or the ocean speaking. That one day they will meet in the calming breeze of the sea. From the looks of it, that one day will be sooner than we thought…
