#OurStoryIsOne pays tribute to what these ten women believed in and what they were ready to give their life for. They believed that humanity is one. They believed that the story of humanity is one. That wherever we live, wherever we come from, whatever our background, whatever our belief or faith, we have a collective destiny, we have collective aspirations, we also have collective challenges, and therefore we have collective solutions. Solutions that we as humanity need to devise jointly #OurStoryIsOne means that each single human being is endowed with capacity and has an irreplaceable role to play in the devising of these solutions. It means that each one of us, each community, each place, each continent, with all our diversity and the rich tapestry of experience and knowledge we possess, each one of us needs to be allowed and be able to be a protagonist in the shaping of our future civilisation.
