Dana Point is one of the most beautiful, fun, and relaxing beach towns in the world. It has world class beaches, surfing for all skill levels, fine dining, genuinely kind people to befriend, and so much more! In this video, Holly & Milana McKhann with the McKhann Group Real Estate take you to their favorite spots in Dana Point (They are locals so they know whats best!).

1. The first spot is Pines Park. It has a walking path overlooking the ocean. You will see the Dana Point Harbor from here, sailboats, and San Clemente. Its the perfect place to bring your friends, kids, dogs, or a book.

2. Doheny Beach is the second spot. It is an iconic surf break perfect for beginners and longboarders. You can actually drive your car right next to the surf break! It is so cool to see the surfers from this perspective.

3. Lantern Bay Park is our 3rd spot. It is a huge grassy park that also has a playground for kids. It overlooks Doheny and the coast of San Clemente. There are yoga classes here everyday and during the summer their are free movies and concerts here too! It is walking distance to the harbor and you are likely to see people working out by running up and down the stairs.

4. Dana Point Harbor is our 4th spot in Dana Point. We have a whole video on the Dana Point Harbor because there is SO MUCH to do here! There is a great variety of restaurants on the water, there is miles of sidewalks for walking and exercising and people bring their dogs here. You can also go paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing, whale watching, parasailing, and so much more.

5. Baby Beach is our 5th spot we recommend visiting in Dana Point. This is where you will want to launch your paddleboards and kayaks (you can rent those here too!). Baby Beach is blocked from the open ocean by the jetty so it you won't find waves for surfing. This is what makes it the perfect place to bring your little ones too. You don't have to worry about them getting swept away in big waves. This is also right next to the Ocean Institute which is an educational place for the kiddos to learn about marine life.

6. Strands beach is spot #6. It has a beautiful paved walking path on top of the bluff. This is our favorite place to watch the sunset, check it out and you will see why. Strands also has one of the most luxurious, coveted neighborhoods in the world. The homes represent the ultimate beach house mansion. Parking at this beach is free and there is always plenty of parking.

7. Salt Creek Beach is another one of the best beaches in Dana Point. It is a phenomenal surf spot and very fun for swimming. This is where the Dana Hills High School surf team practices in the early morning. Salt Creek has a massive grassy hill overlooking the beach. This is a great place to have a picnic or enjoy a free concert or movie during the summer.

8. Dana Point Conservation Park is located on the Dana Point Headlands. It has an incredible view overlooking the Harbor. You can see the whole coastline of Dana Point, San Clemente, and on a clear day you will see San Diego! Their are dirt walking paths up there that are very easy and short.
