Chollet also stated how the US believes in working closely with the government of Pakistan besides having good relationships with all the stakeholders.

On the recent catastrophic situation in Pakistan, the US Department of State Counselor said the floods have brought devastation beyond comprehension, wiping out a significant number of key crops.

Mr. Chollet also reiterated that the international community needs to do more for Pakistan’s flood assistance as the scale of devastation in Pakistan was colossal, further exacerbating the challenges for an already depleted economy.
