On November 30th, 2023, officers were called to Target regarding an ongoing shoplifting incident, where a female was “skip scanning” items at the self-checkout. Upon arrival, officers found the suspect, later identified as 20-year-old Danielle, walking out the store pushing a cart filled with items.
She was arrested and charged with shoplifting, escape or attempt to escape from a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. If convicted she could face up to 3 ½ years in prison.
