Dulce Vida is a 2007 DeFever 52 Euro that has been beautifully looked after by her second owners. She is moored in Channel Islands Harbor, CA (Oxnard/Ventura) – ideally positioned for a quick trip over to the island jewels of southern California –if you want to explore further, you can take a left to Mexico or a right to Alaska.

The DeFever 52 Euro model is a popular two stateroom, two head design with a generous flybridge and boat deck.  The master stateroom is aft with an athwartships island berth and ensuite head. The layout design has the master easily accessible from the salon or pilothouse – a much more popular layout that also allows for better airflow through the boat and easier to get around. The guest stateroom is forward with over / under bunks.  This is an ideal trawler for a cruising couple who wants to entertain guests and enjoy a yacht that is easy to handle, operate and maintain.

Dulce Vida is set up for coastal cruising with her twin Caterpillar C-7’s, 454 HP diesel engines and enjoys offshore comfort with her Naiad active fin stabilizers. She is air conditioned and has a Westerbeke 12.5kW generator. Outback inverter, Mastervolt chargemaster battery charger and Link 10 battery level remote.  Fire suppression, life raft and EPIRB are some of her safety features.

On deck, there is a Steelhead crane for launching the Caribe dinghy and her serious profile is embellished with her walk around side decks and Portuguese bridge deck. Additional equipment and features include; freshwater Vacuflush toilets, HRO watermaker, Seaward hot water heater, Pompanette helm chairs and much, much more. There is just enough varnish teak trim to show off her elegance. Her current (second owners) purchased her in Southern California and have wandered up to the Pacific Northwest and back.   Due to changing family circumstances, they find they no longer have the time to travel with her and so have listed her for sale at a very competitive price (nearly half of what a new D52E would sell for.
