I FINALLY Catch from a FLOODED & COLOURED French River..!

Описание: Well it's safe to say - My French river fishing experience for April-25 was not what I expected. I'd be watching the conditions closely for a few weeks before my trip with the river looking stable with I was expecting it to be clear and showing typical spring conditions.

The weather changed significantly a couple of days before my trip started with a 4-5 day deluge of rain coming down non-stop, pushing up the level on La Vienne and making for some challenging fishing conditions.

Whilst this wouldn't normally bother me on the Severn or Trent, I was quickly reminded that the experience you build up over many years - Knowing different stretches and where fish move to was invaluable information.

I was faced with the very tricky task of trying to find some fishable stretches and also find some fish on a big, wide and powerful river that I'd not seen beforehand - It was a stark reminder that knowledge and experience is hugely important in river fishing.

See how I approach trying to find a few bites with only limited options available to me, with reward for my efforts finally arriving.
