[Human Theory TAS] Deepest Sword any% -

Edit (8-25-21): At this point this is horribly outdated, a new more optimized TAS could easily hit a low 2:4x potentially even a high 2:3x.

This is something I didn't think I would ever make let alone upload but here we are.

Lets get the important things out of the way:

Q: Where are the sound effects?

A: This was recorded using a mod that allowed me to slow the game down, I sped the video back up to normal in editing. Because of this, the sound effects were both off-sync and didn't even remotely sound correct so they were removed.

Q: A mod that lets you slow down the game exists?

A: It sure does now! I made the mod as a practice tool to help learn stuff at slower speeds and gradually work back up to normal speed.

Q: Why does the title screen show up during every sword length?

A: I recorded each sword length separately and stitched them back together in editing. I went as far as to count how many frames the normal transitions are between sword lengths to make sure everything was as accurate as possible.

Q: Why is this called a "Human Theory TAS"?

A: Everything done in this TAS can be done in real time with enough practice, although some things are definitely easier than others (Looking at you length 2 stairs...).

All of that said, I also made this to double as a way of releasing the mod to everyone, I've made sure things like saving your best time and unlocking achievements are not possible while this is installed so prevent any cheating. Also adding some very clear ways of being able to tell the mod is active to help prevent anyone from submitting cheated speedruns. I really hope this mod can be used a helpful practice tool and maybe even help test out / find new strats.
