Описание: Rhythm is present in every aspect of human life. Find out how we process rhythm in our brains and how we synchronize to external rhythms. Learn about groove and Parkinson's Disease - a rhythm deficiency. Experience the illusion of subjective accenting - our brain's natural tendency to produce meter.

Welcome to Neuroscience for Musicians. This is a series of live online presentations given at the Johns Hopkins Center for Music and Medicine, that seeks to provide musicians with a deeper, neurologically based understanding of music. We look at how different aspects of music are processed in the brain, then begin to explore how music shapes our brains and how we learn, play and improvise music. Follow along as we dive into a modern, scientific exploration of this ancient art form.
