The RC Curare, built using classic wooden construction, is based on the legendary Curare 60 of multiple aerobatic model world champion Hanno Prettner, who achieved countless victories with the model in the 1970s.
The model flies several circuits around the field without any problems, but suddenly the motor cuts out, leading directly to a crash. The cause of the failure was likely overheating of the motor controller.
