Innovative Cancer Institute was founded in July of 2008 by Doctors Beatriz and Marco Amendola, two Board Certified Doctors, each with over 35 years of experience.

Our approach is to deliver high precision, image-guided Radiation Therapy that allows us to protect adjacent organs, while eliminating the cancer, all done without the need for anesthesia or surgery.

When ICI opened in 2008, we were the first in Florida with the new Varian Trilogy System and In 2014 We installed a Varian EDGE system, only the second one in all of the US, and first in FL, allowing for more specialized Radiosurgery treatments.

Radiosurgery is all about precision and accuracy, utilizing targeted radiation in large doses to destroy tumors. It is noninvasive and a very effective alternative to conventional surgery.

Now 2019 we are the first in the Southeastern US to have the brand new Varian Halcyon 2.0

Halcyon allows for transformative radiotherapy treatment as it’s engineered ergonomically to be intuitive, friendly, and comfortable for clinical staff and patients alike.
