===WHAT IS MASH?===
MASH (Microsoft Agent Scripting Helper) is a software tool for Windows that allows you to create animated presentations using Microsoft Agent interactive characters, facilitating the development of virtual assistants with voice (TTS) and speech recognition for applications and web pages, although Microsoft Agent technology was discontinued by Microsoft starting with Windows 7/8.

Microsoft Agent: It was a Microsoft technology that allowed developers to incorporate animated characters (like the famous "Clippy") into their software, capable of speaking, listening to commands, and interacting more naturally with the user.

MASH (Microsoft Agent Scripting Helper): It was a script editor created by Bellcraft Technologies that used the Microsoft Agent API to create and animate these characters, exporting the animations for use in various contexts (such as emails).

How it worked: MASH helped control the actions, speech, and movements of the Agent characters, transforming them into virtual assistants that could provide information or guide users.
