CAMP PENDLETON, Calif., Feb. 10, 2026 — U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment conduct military operations on urbanized terrain training during the Intermediate Location event. The event serves as a predeployment requirement designed to validate combat readiness while reinforcing small-unit leadership roles and responsibilities.
Military operations on urbanized terrain training strengthens Marines’ ability to maneuver, communicate and make decisions in complex urban environments. Intermediate Location events ensure Reserve units meet established standards and remain prepared to deploy in support of global operations.
