Описание: Thousands of Allied Health students across India are facing uncertainty regarding their future due to the ongoing conflict between the National Commission for Allied Health Professions (NCAHP) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Several B.Voc Allied Health courses such as Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Emergency & Trauma Care Technology are currently not being approved by NCAHP. The main reason cited is course nomenclature and structure, despite these programs being run under UGC-recognized universities.
Due to the lack of NCAHP recognition (manyata), students fear:
Ineligibility for government jobs
Problems in professional registration
Uncertain career prospects after graduation
As a result, students are protesting peacefully and demanding that the university administration take immediate action. Their primary demand is: ➡️ Change or standardize the course nomenclature according to NCAHP guidelines
