Painted by artist Sam Brooks in 2021, the artwork transforms six towering silos in Eudunda, South Australia, into a vibrant narrative canvas. The mural features two children sharing stories, symbolizing the transmission of history and imagination across generations. It pays tribute to Colin Thiele’s beloved novel “Sun on the Stubble”, a tale rooted in the region’s rural life.

Ngadjuri Indigenous motifs, such as stars and a guiding red string, representing cultural continuity and connection.
