A young woman has made a miraculous recovery after a rare illness left her completely paralysed and unable to blink, move or talk for five months. Rachael Bailey, 20, from Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, started to feel a tingling sensation in her fingers and toes after a night out and woke up the morning after with back pain and numb legs. She was left unable to even move her legs and had to physically crawl out of bed and within days Rachel was diagnosed with Guillain Barre syndrome - a rare illness that attacks the nervous system and left her unable to carry on with her normal life.
