In this episode I build a swing stove. The sides and ends are made of 5mm plywood, and the bottom is made of ½” or 12mm plywood. The stove appealed to me with its minimalistic look, it’s called the Cube Table Top Stove made by Kovea (not a sponsor.) It uses cans of butane which need to be stored in a self draining locker. Butane gas is 2.08 times heavier than air, so if it is stored in a compartment that does not have a drain at the bottom and it leaks, the gasses will remain in the bottom and this can result in an explosion. I plan to store my fuel cans in a self-draining cockpit locker. The stainless steel kettle shown at the end is a Firemaple 1L kettle (also not sponsored.)
