Technique of growing and Caring of Fancy Caladiums .Fancy Caladiums are foliage plants famous for their incredible color combinations.These are mainly tropical plants oroginated from Peru and Brazil.The family is Araceae along the main species of colored foliage species is Caladium bicolor. They like well drained acidic soil rich in humus.There are around 250 cultivars of the species world over.They prefer sheddy areas with small phased sunlight.They are mainly grown from tubers.They perish in winter and again sprout at spring.These can be fertilized with 10:10 :10 Potassium fertilizer once in a month.If the plants are attacked by insects or fungus they can well be treated with soap and neem oil mixture spray.
