Police raids school conducting banned holiday coaching

Officials of Kampala Capital City Authority KCCA and police swooped down on Sr. Miriam Duggan Primary School in Kamwokya suburb in Kampala, following a tip off that pupils were being coached during school holidays. The ban on extra tuition classes was instituted by the Education ministry in 2010 over concerns for safety of the children. More than 300 pupils were attending the holiday classes at the school.
