555 Wave Generator - CHEAP Kit Build and Test
A nice simple cheap kit build, a 555 wave generator which came from AliExpress for about £1. This kit generates sine wave, square wave, sawtooth wave and triangle waveforms from very few components. Ideal for testing audio equipment such as amplifiers in hifi as well as guitar and keyboard amps. It can also be used to test the output stages of vintage radios and gramophone players.
I don't go into all the details of the kit operation but I do have the circuit diagram on screen if you wish to junk box build one yourself.
