Keema Rice for Babies | Weight Gain Baby Food|Lunch Recipes for 1 Year Baby|Soft Lunch Recipe|

Keema (well cleaned & finely minced)

Onion – very finely chopped

Tomato – finely chopped

Green peas (matar) – few

Soaked rice

Ghee – 1 tsp

Ginger-garlic paste – a small pinch

Shahajeera – a tiny pinch

Turmeric – a pinch

Coriander powder – a pinch

Pepper powder – a very tiny pinch (optional)

Salt – a pinch (optional)

Coriander leaves – finely chopped

Pudina – finely chopped

Method:

• Heat ghee in a pressure cooker
• Add a pinch of shahajeera
• Add finely chopped onions and sauté until soft
• Add keema and cook well on low flame
• Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes
• Add chopped tomato and cook till soft
• Add turmeric, coriander powder, pepper powder (very little)
• Add whole green peas and cook until soft
• Add a tiny pinch of salt and mix well
• Add soaked rice and required water
• Close lid and pressure cook for 6–7 whistles on low flame
• Cool slightly and serve warm
