One of the most varied displays at Duxford recently with aircraft types spanning many decades in this 50th year of Duxford airshows.
The show saw the flying display debut of a recently restored Lockheed 12A Electra and what a beautiful sight it made too, another highlight was a lovely formation display of a three ship of 'classic jets' involving the Norwegian Vampire and the two Strikemasters from the Strikemaster Pair.
The RAF provided an A400M from Brize Norton in a flypast on the Saturday and a rolling display due to Air Traffic restrictions at Stansted by the Red Arrows on the Sunday. Plenty of 'themed' flypasts throughout the show from the many warbirds followed by individual displays and civilian display teams too including Team Raven, The Stampe Display Team and the Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers.
