Along the way, she enlists the help of Danny and Hilary de Vries, an eccentric artist couple, and confronts a cast of morally ambiguous characters: Louis Prince, the art dealer; Richard Odingha, the haunted student; and Larry Saint, the charming yet dangerous conspirator. As tensions mount, Arlette must decide how far she will go to avenge Piet’s death and whether justice can ever truly silence a murderer.
