Ugandans have been cautioned to be careful what permissions and settings they allow various smartphone applications to make when downloaded.
The increase of unregulated money lending apps on the Ugandan market is posing a threat to citizens personal data which could lead to loss of large sums money in form of cyber theft or misuse of this data by criminals.
