Experience four rounds of 7-minute lightning talks with career coaches from the University of Minnesota on job search resources, resume writing, interviewing, and networking. Participants will then engage in a deeper conversation around job search strategies during uncertain times.

About the Presenters:

Rebecca Diaz Luebbert is the Director of Career & Business Engagement with the University of Minnesota Alumni Association. With 12 years of experience in higher education, she has cultivated expertise in career services and coaching others to achieve their goals. Previously, Rebecca has provided leadership, coaching, and supervision to the career team in the College of Biological Sciences, worked at The Career Center at the University of Illinois- Urbana Champaign, and held various roles at Florida International University.

Marissa Smith is the Director of Student & Recent Alumni Engagement with the University of Minnesota Alumni Association. Her 11-year career in higher education at the University of Minnesota has focused on ensuring that students have a smooth transition into university life and transformative experience once they are on campus and as alumni.

Steph Eiden, Assistant Director, Internship Coordinator, and MURP Advise with Career and Professional Development, at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. She attended the University of Minnesota Duluth in Duluth, MN, with a major in Psychology and minor in Business Administration. She completed a graduate degree in College Counseling and Student Development at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN. Steph previously worked at the University of Minnesota Rochester as a Student Success Coach (academic advisor, career counselor, and pre-health advisor). Her professional work experiences in academic advising, teaching, career counseling, and event planning have led her to career counseling where she enjoys helping students define/set goals, and engage in professional development opportunities to build skills for life after graduation.

Jen Guyer-Wood, Director and MPA Adviser with Career and Professional Development at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs manages all aspects of career and professional development for Humphrey School students and collaborates with student services, alumni relations, development, and many other partners to serve students from the first contact to graduation and beyond. Jen has worked in Higher Education since 1997, both in student affairs and university advancement and she is passionate about helping students achieve success. Jen earned a social studies and speech secondary education degree and a master of counseling and student personnel, both from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Rebecca Dordel is a Senior Career Coach at the Carlson School of Management, Undergraduate Career Center. She's worked in higher education for the past ten years, with previous roles in the College of Biological Sciences, College of Science and Engineering and at the University of Virginia.
